Draft pending legal review

This page has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor and may change before launch.

This policy explains what personal information Doction collects through this website, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible for your information

Doction is operated by Babblo Ltd., of [postal address to be added]. Babblo Ltd. is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Contact: hello@doction.ai.

This policy covers visitors to this site and people who ask for a demo. When a financial adviser uses Doction with their own clients, the adviser's firm decides what is done with that client information and Doction processes it on the firm's behalf, under the agreement with the firm.

What we collect

When you request a demo we collect:

  • your name and work email address,
  • the time you agreed to be contacted and the version of this policy that applied,
  • where on the site you made the request, and the status of your request.

We do not store your IP address or browser details with your request. Your IP address is held briefly in memory to limit repeated submissions and is then discarded.

Why we use it and our legal basis

We use this information to:

  • reply to your demo request and arrange a demo (taking steps at your request before an agreement, and your consent),
  • keep the site secure and filter out spam (our legitimate interest in protecting the service),
  • understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (our legitimate interest in improving it).

Who receives it

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the providers that help us run the site, listed below. Each acts on our instructions.

Where it is processed

Our hosting, AI and email providers process information in the EU, as shown on the Security page.

How long we keep it

  • Demo requests: 24 months after we last contact you, then deleted.
  • Requests we identify as spam: deleted after 30 days.
  • Records of actions taken inside the product (the audit log): 6 years, then deleted. These records are append-only and can remain after a client record has been deleted.
  • We delete your information sooner if you ask us to, except where we must keep it by law. Copies in backups are removed as the backups expire.

Analytics, cookies and storage

We use Plausible Analytics to count page views, button clicks, demo requests and plays of the film. It sets no cookies, does not use your browser storage and does not collect personal information, so the counts are aggregate only.

This site sets no cookies for marketing or analytics. We store your light or dark theme choice in your browser so the site looks the way you left it. Signing in to the product sets a cookie needed to keep you signed in.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@doction.ai. We check who is asking, and aim to respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at https://www.dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes here. The version of the policy that applied when you made your request is recorded with it.
